Reducing plastic waste and recycling is a good start
The Minderoo Foundation’s No Plastic Waste project is a major sponsor for Jon Sanders 11th global circumnavigation. The project is promoting awareness of the issues of rising plastic waste, advocating for an industry response and action to address this crisis, and supporting innovative technologies that will bring forward the transition to a circular economy. The No Plastic Waste project advocates clean oceans through technological innovation and policy change. Rather than wasting plastic, Minderoo advocates we should be reusing waste plastic to make new plastic so as to keep plastic in a circular economy and out of our environment.
